To nobody’s surprise, the iPhone 5 event on September 12 was confirmed by a press invitation sent out by Apple this morning. And as always, the event will be hosted at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with a 10 a.m. Pacific Time start date. While Apple hasn’t confirmed anything besides the date, the iPhone 5 is expected to have a larger, 4-inch screen, mini dock connector and a the highly sought after LTE connection.
I heard from an unnamed source that Verizon wouldn’t take the new iPhone 5 unless it had the LTE capabilities. And of course, this will all be on the new iOS 6 software, which will include Facebook integration. Who knows if the iPad mini will be announced or if it even exists. What do you think? Will there be a bigger iPhone 5 screen or iPad mini?
