Apple Turned Down Multiple Times for Multi-Touch

Apple Multi-TouchIt’s official [MacRumors], Apple was denied, not once, but twice by the powers at be for the trademark of the term ‘Multi-Touch’. They’ve been fighting for it ¬†every since January 9, 2007. Yes, the day the iPhone was introduced. But why was Apple denied?

The powers that be basically denied Apple because they said multi-touch has become too broad of a term and is not specific to Apple. In fact, it’s used to describe just about any mobile device nowadays. Still, let’s relive the magic that introduced multi-touch to the masses.
