There are some really great free apps for iPad 2 and iPhone and ScanBizCards is one of them. It truly is a gets things done app and is one of the best office apps for iPhone I’ve used.
Of course, while the lite version is free, there is a more robust option for $5.99 that offers more features. However, the lite version is very useful and supports business cards in Czech, Danish, English, German, Greek, Finnish, French and many other languages. Run in Game seems like a pretty sweet running app and it’s free for a limited time. Has anyone used it yet? I’ve downloaded it, but am waiting to check it out.
At first glance, the iPhone running app seems very robust. Here are some of its features:
- Combination of GPS, motion track, the pace of statistical functions of the Running assistant, according to a combination of a variety of data and better measurement error correction.
- GPS is not used in the state (such as using iPod Touch, or indoor workout time), you can also continue your activities. Continue reading Run in Game Turns Life into Running Game via iPhone
It’s Friday, Friday… ugh, now that song is stuck in my head and now probably yours. Well, let me help by presenting to you three games that will take your mind back and provide a lot of fun, but also a lot of thinking and strategy… Chokoblok, Conundrum and Doodlephrases and all are from Von Nostrum Games.
Each is just as challenging as the other. Chokoblok, a board puzzle game, Conundrum a word and maths puzzler and Doodlephrases, a say what you see game where you have to work out the catch phrase. Have a great weekend! Continue reading Chokoblok, Conundrum and Doodlephrases are App Puzzling Fun
EA Mobile launched Battleship for iPad and Don’t Fall Off for iPhone, two games I’m looking forward to trying out. Of course Battleship is a classic and is fun no matter the device, but I’m sure the iPad 2 will make it even better. The 2 player multiplayer mode looks like a lot of fun.
As for Don’t Fall Off, it seems like an interesting concept. A boat, a “rollie” and the goal of keeping him/her dry. Nobody likes falling off of boats unless it’s summer and there is a slide in the picture. Continue reading New Apps – Battleship and Don’t Fall Off from EA Mobile
I’ve been testing out Banjo, the new social discovery app, over the past week. I must say, I’m quite impressed. In a nutshell, the free iPhone app allows you to “discover what you’re missing.” For example, open Banjo and see what’s happening with your friends or others in your local area… or Paris.
The beauty of it, you can check Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare and Gowalla all from one app thanks to Banjo’s CEO Damien Patton. I recently interviewed Patton and because I’d rather cut all of my boring questions out, I’ve only uploaded his answers directly to the AppyHour.tv YouTube channel. There are plenty of iPhone and iPad covers and accessories and two of which I am very excited to test out arrived in the mail today from OtterBox. After my first phone went in the drink, I swear by an iPhone case. In fact, one of my firsts was the OtterBox iPhone Defender waterproof case. I’ve since gone to a slimmer case.
I’ll be posting a full review later, but for now, be jealous of OtterBox iPhone and iPad Case Show and Tell product pics of the OtterBox Utility Series Latch for iPad (and iPad 2) and Reflex Series iPhone 4 case.
